Air Transport

Copan is easily accessed, on excellent roads, by three major cities that are serviced by major airlines. San Pedro Sula (2.5 hours' drive), Guatemala City (4 hours away), and San Salvador (4.5 hours away) are served by United, American, Continental, Taca, Iberia, among others. Direct flights are available to these cities from Miami, Houston, and Los Angeles.

Copan also has an airstrip just west of town. We can arrange charter service from Guatemala City, Antigua, Tikal, San Pedro Sula, and Roatan. These destinations are less than an hour away by air.

Land Transport

Depending on your needs, there are three convenient ways to reach Copán by land: rental car, luxury bus, or private transport.
