For
a small town located many miles from urban centers,
Copán delivers an incredibly rich package
of cultural attractions. We strongly urge visitors
to plan at least two full days just to appreciate
the cultural attractions of our valley.
The
Maya ruins of Copán are
justifiable famous and not to be missed. Marvel
at the
intricately carved stelae, the sublime architecture,
and the magnificent Sculpture Museum.

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of
parks and museums, including
the Maya Archaeology
Museum, the Casa K´inich Children´s Learning
Center, the
Macaw Mountain Bird Park and Nature Reserve, and
Enchanted Wings Butterfly Park.
The descendants of the ancient Maya still
live the hills surrounding our valley, and several

are several picturesque colonial
towns that make a great
day trip from the hotel.
